I am Chunxiao Liu, a theoretical physicist studying condensed matter systems and discrete structures in physics and mathematics.
I am a CNRS researcher at the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides (LPS, Université Paris-Saclay) in Orsay, near Paris. Here are links to my office, our group Théorie, and the lab LPS.
I was an independent postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley (2021–2025), and previously a graduate student at UC Santa Barbara (2015–2021), where I worked with Leon Balents.
